PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – BE PREPARED AS NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN IN OCTOBER

Purchase is ONLINE ONLY at this time of the year and tickets become available online after 10 pm the night before your visit. Click the “Purchase Same Day Ticket” box on the upper right hand corner of the website, anytime after 10 pm.    

By checking the box below, you are agreeing to abide by the following terms.

  1. Don’t be late! We cannot change or switch the ticket time you have selected. Tickets are non-refundable. Choose your time wisely! We anticipate HEAVY traffic ALL season and there is very limited local parking. ANTICIPATE EARLY ROAD CLOSURES. 

  2. You understand your party must check in on time for your reservation.  The arrival time is listed on your ticket. Make everyone in your party aware of this information., PLEASE INCLUDE EXTRA TRAVEL TIME TO AVOID BEING LATE.

  3. You agree to check your spam or junk folder if you do not see your ticket confirmation email.

  4. Travel as light as you can. If you bring a stroller, bring the smallest one you have. We do not have stroller or wagon parking, and for safety we do not allow wagons or large strollers into the building  The UPS Store in Salem can store a limited number of suitcases, but they are closed on Sundays and there is a fee.

  5. Be aware that weapons real or fake are not allowed in the Museum and you may not have time to return to your car to store these prohibited item. Know that WE WILL NOT LET YOU IN SHOULD YOU BRING PROHIBITED ITEMS INTO THE MUSEUM.

  6.  Backpacks WILL be subject to search.

Additional Important Information:

  • Do Not Refresh Page which will lead to multiple ticket purchases. The ticketing system may lag due to high demand. Please allow a few minutes for processing. We will not refund you if you’ve refreshed and purchased multiple tickets.

  • Do you see a countdown at the bottom of the page? This means there is high web traffic and you have been placed in a virtual waiting room. When the timer is up, you will be able to proceed to the next page.

  • When you arrive, check in with a staff member at the front of the museum, at your allotted time. Please have your cellphone and confirmation email ready. We will scan your QR code, present you with your timed museum admission stickers, and direct you to the appropriate entry point into the museum.

  • PLEASE NOTE – The museum presentation depicts dark and tragic history. Some of the visuals may not be suitable for younger audiences.

  • Multilingual options (French, German, Japanese, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Mandarin and Cantonese) are available for the main presentation. Headsets are available for an additional price. The second exhibit is conducted in English.

  • Pet are not allowed. Service animals as defined by the ADA are welcomed.

  • Choose your arrival time

  • Select the number of tickets and ticket types

  • Enter your GO BOSTON or GO CITY code (with no spaces and no hyphens) for each pass and then follow the rest of the prompts.

  • Please arrive on time as we can not move your time if you arrive late.
